AMAZING. The meat absolutely just melts in your mouth. The lumpia was crispy and delicious, the short ribs were packed with flavor, and the spaghetti had a slight kick with the classic Filipino sweetness. The only thing I didn't love was the butternut squash, which felt firm and a little undercooked. In terms of ambiance, the restaurant was too loud for a catch up dinner with friends. It didn't start getting quieter until later in the night, when people started filing out. The space is just small and noise really echoes around. I would love to go again during a non prime-time dinner hour!

My family and I come to DC all the time for a little getaway and it never gets old! We came to Purple Patch for lunch, such a cute and spacious place! I love Filipino food and literally anything Ube! Service was excellent and food/drinks were delicious! I would definitely love to come back here again when we visit DC again. Don't hesitate to try you won't be disappointed!

We came here for last meal/brunch of our trip, and it was a great choice! We sat upstairs, which was pretty private. Our server was this cool guy with a green mustache who we could feel the decision paralysis emanating from when we asked for recommendations on what to order. We had a large group, so we got to try a lot of things anyways including the chicken and ube waffles, lechon and ube pancakes (out of these my favorite was the chicken and waffles), garlic fried rice, pork adobo, sisig, etc. Everything was delicious, albeit a little on the heavy side, but that's standard for Filipino cuisine. Serving sizes were also perfect for sharing. I would come again when I'm in the mood to be stuffed.

this was my second visit, and the food was yum still! if trying family style, I'd recommend the pancit mahal and sisig. if alone, I'd recommend the tocino. for dessert, definitely get the ube tres leches cake. SOOO good.
